Blondes vs. Brunettes kicks off in Chicago

The Alzheimer’s Association Blondes vs. Brunettes flag football game kicks off at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday June 14th at the Hawthorne Scholastic Academy Turf Field at 3319 N Clifton Avenue in Chicago. The two teams are divided based on the age-old rivalry between blondes and brunettes, while increasing awareness of Alzheimer’s disease among a new generation (Note: Redheads are “free agents,” permitted to play for the team of their choice).

Use your brain to help fight Alzheimer’s disease

June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month. Worldwide, there are at least 44 million people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. Everyone who has a brain is at risk to develop Alzheimer’s — but everyone can help to fight it. Post, tweet and share the facts about this devastating disease. Each time you talk about Alzheimer’s, you help raise awareness and inspire action. Now is the time to get involved.
