Award-winning novelist Garcia Márquez has dementia, family says

Colombian novelist and Nobel laureate Gabriel García Márquez has dementia and is no longer writing, according to his younger brother. Despite the challenges of his condition, García Márquez is said to be doing well physically and “still has the humor, joy and enthusiasm he has always had.”
