Study: Smell tests don’t predict onset of Alzheimer’s

Smell tests should not be used to predict Alzheimer’s, a new study shows. Although there may be a link between the loss of smell and Alzheimer’s, researchers say that since other medical problems can cause people to lose their sense of smell, it does not necessarily mean they will develop the disease.
