Hernandez discusses how to advocate for people living with Alzheimer’s

Alzheimer’s Association Celebrity Champion Liz Hernandez, a correspondent for NBC’s “Access Hollywood,” received the Young Advocate Award at the recent 2017 Alzheimer’s Association Advocacy Forum. Hernandez became an advocate after her mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s two years ago. Though initially reluctant to talk about what was happening in her family, she realized it was important to speak out.
