In honor of National Family Caregivers Month, the Alzheimer’s Association wants to recognize the compassionate people who provide support to those living with the disease.
Caring for someone with Alzheimer’s can be overwhelming. Last year alone, more than 15 million Americans provided an estimated 18.1 billion hours of unpaid care to family and friends living with Alzheimer’s. Contributions from dedicated caregivers are making a real difference for the people across the nation facing this cruel and fatal disease.
