2015 State of Illinois Alzheimer’s Disease Survey Results
The results from our 2015 State of Illinois Alzheimer’s Disease Survey are in. A total of 1,559 Illinois residents took the time to share their thoughts on the state’s programs and services for those affected by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
The results from our 2015 State of Illinois Alzheimer’s Disease Survey are in. A total of 1,559 Illinois residents took the time to share their thoughts on the state’s programs and services for those affected by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
The information we learn from this survey and reflected in this report will be a great resource as the Alzheimer’s Association and others to prepare recommendations for Illinois lawmakers and staff at Illinois’ state agencies as they address this looming public health crisis. Lawmakers and agency staff will have to improve the state’s response to Alzheimer’s disease as the numbers of those with Alzheimer’s grows from 210,000 to 260,000 by 2025.
