The signature fundraiser of the Alzheimer’s Association is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
Please consider joining the hundreds of thousands across the United States as they fundraise and walk to put an end to this devastating disease. Check in and festivities for the following events, with the exception of Decatur, begin at 8 a.m., with the walk kicking off at 10 a.m.

Saturday, October 5
The Southeastern Illinois Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place at Harrisburg High School Taylor Field, 333 West College St., Harrisburg.
The Lake County Walk to End Walk Alzheimer’s will take place at Independence Grove, 16400 West Buckley Road, Libertyville.
The Joliet Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place at Rock Run Forest Preserve, 3395 Black Road, Joliet.
Saturday, October 12
The Decatur Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place at Forsyth Village Park, 601 Forsyth Parkway, Decatur. Check in and festivities will begin at 9 a.m. The walk will kick off at 10 a.m.
The Carbondale Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place at Carbondale Community High School, 1301 E. Walnut St., Carbondale.
And don’t forget that fundraising for Walk to End Alzheimer’s participants will remain open through the end of the year. Thank you to all who have taken part in this critical effort to rid the world of Alzheimer’s disease.
