Man takes long walk to Atlanta to raise money to fight Alzheimer’s

William Glass of Lombard, Ill., has set off on a 750-mile trek to Atlanta — on foot — to help fight Alzheimer’s disease. He hopes to raise $10,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association in part to honor his mother, Eileen, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2010: “I just want to get out the awareness of how many more people have this disease and how much more funding we need.”
