Help people facing dementia plan for the future –  Dear AWA Corporate Champion – Alzheimer’s
Just as proper planning is key for any business, it’s also essential for people living with Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia and their caregivers. The sooner planning begins, the more likely it is that the person with dementia will be able to participate in decision-making around legal and financial choices.
The Alzheimer’s Association® offers information to help families as they discuss finances, future care and more. Please share this article through your communication channels to offer the Association’s legal and financial planning resources to your employees.
In addition to planning for the more distant future, it’s also important for people facing Alzheimer’s to be prepared for the upcoming holiday season. Please use this article to share the Association’s information and tips for approaching the holidays.
Thanks for all you do to connect people facing Alzheimer’s with helpful Association resources.
