Are you looking to have a candid conversation about normal memory changes as well as the signs of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias? The Alzheimer’s Association®, Greater Illinois Chapter and area elected officials will hold two events in September to teach attendees the warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease as well as provide resources for those affected.

The second ceremony took place 31 years after the first. Then, Jane and Geoff Brook exchanged wedding bands and pledged a life of love and commitment. This time, the couple sat together, reminiscing about their wedding day and their bond as husband and wife as they donned, not rings, but bracelets. But the bracelets that always encircle the couple’s wrists are not merely symbols of devotion. They are a lifeline.
