Help us meet the 2012 Spring Matching Gift Challenge

Dear,

Weddings, graduations, proms… spring is a season of special milestones. Now, the Alzheimer’s Association® and three generous donors want to help people hold on to these memories. We need your help to meet this $700,000 Gift Challenge!

These three benefactors – the Johnston Family and the Simmons Foundation of Missouri, the Borman Family of Maine and the Cahn Family of New York – have agreed to collectively give $700,000 to the Alzheimer’s Association if we can raise this same amount by June 15.

While this opportunity ends soon, you still have time to make a gift that will further our mission and have twice the impact in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. Your gift of $25 can become $50, and $50 can double to $100, if we receive it by June 15 and haven’t yet met the match.

This Gift Challenge is a special giving opportunity – but like spring, it lasts just a short time. Please show your support and make your donation today.

Thank you,

Angela

Evening with Glen Campbell puts Alzheimer’s in the spotlight

Last week, the Alzheimer’s Association hosted “An Evening with Glen Campbell,” an educational and entertaining event to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s disease among members of Congress. Held at the Library of Congress, the evening honored country music legend Campbell, who is living with Alzheimer’s and is conducting a farewell tour. Campbell’s family feels that performing is helping Campbell to face the disease.
