Unforgettable Art Spotlight: Jill Martin-Golden – Alzheimer’s Association–Optimum Senior Care Chicago In Home Care

“I paint in memory of my father-in-law, John Golden. I paint for the increasingly large number of friends who have lost parents to this disease. I paint for all the wonderful people who are beginning to worry every time they can’t find their car keys or remember certain details.”

Unforgettable Art Spotlight: Jill Martin-Golden

Unforgettable Art benefits the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Illinois Chapter. Support from this event allows us to further our mission of funding research, proving programs, support services and education to Alzheimer’s patients, families and caregivers.

During this unique event, guests are invited to enjoy hors d’oeuvres, drinks and music while they watch 50 talented artists convert blank canvases into works of art. The evening concludes with a live auction of all artwork.

Rockford native, Jill Martin-Golden has been an Unforgettable Art participant for the past three years. Jill says she paints at Unforgettable Art in honor of loved ones lost to Alzheimer’s disease.

“I paint in memory of my father-in-law, John Golden. I paint for the increasingly large number of friends who have lost parents to this disease. I paint for all the wonderful people who are beginning to worry every time they can’t find their car keys or remember certain details.”

Jill also mentioned that her favorite part about the event is joining forces with other artists and attendees under a common goal.

“I love painting alongside fellow artists and seeing so many enthusiastic people come out to support the cause!”

Come and see Jill’s talents on April 29, 2017 at Unforgettable Art!
Tickets can be purchased at unforgettableart.org.
