NAC — National Alliance for Caregiving is a non-profit coalition of national organizations focusing on issues of family caregiving and it is dedicated to providing support to family caregivers and the professionals who help them and to increasing public awareness of issues facing family caregivers.

ALZ — Alzheimer’s Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research. Their mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

IHCC — Illinois Homecare Council is the nation's first home care association, and is the voice for home health care in the state of Illinois. IHCC represents home care and hospice agencies that provide care to Illinois residents, companies that serve those agencies, as well as other state and federal associations.

NPDA — National Private Duty Association is nation's first association for providers of private duty home care. NPDA members provide both home health care and non-medical home care services such as companion care, elder care, and in-home assisted living services.

COC — Continuity of Care Organization (State of Illinois) The Continuity of Care Organization exists to enhance the concept of continuity of care as both as essential part of the health care continuum and as integral to total patient care.
