This family foundation will match your gift, up to $50,000 – Alzheimer’s Association

Because of your dedication to the fight against Alzheimer’s disease, we just met our $25,000 match sponsored by an anonymous donor. Thank you so much for supporting the millions of people who are affected by this cruel and fatal disease.
We need your help once again, because the Eisenberg Family Foundation has generously agreed to give $50,000 to the Alzheimer’s Association if we raise that same amount by the end of the year. We can’t do this without your support.

You can make an even bigger difference when you give now.
$35 can become $70
$60 can become $120
$120 can become $240

The Eisenberg Family Foundation was established to honor their parents. Dr. Eisenberg, a cardiologist, explains, “Our mother was a fantastic cook. She always had the family over. But eventually, she couldn’t get any recipes correct. My father was a very successful business man but eventually lost the ability to do any financial transactions. This was heartbreaking to watch.”
Dr. Eisenberg and his family were devastated to watch his mother lose her independence. “With this kind of family history, my brother and I have an interest in advancing Alzheimer’s research. It’s something that hangs over our heads. I have three kids and three grandchildren. We need to learn how to change the natural history of Alzheimer’s so that they and others do not have to face this terrible illness.”
Any amount you give will help the Alzheimer’s Association continue to pursue our mission to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
When you give before December 31, your tax-deductible donation of $35 can become $70, or a gift of $60 can become $120.
When you make a gift that can go twice as far, you make twice the impact for people living with this disease, their families and caregivers. This holiday season, you can help us move closer to ending the tragic legacy of Alzheimer’s. Please give generously today.
