Volunteers Create Impact
The Alzheimer’s Association® Greater Illinois Chapter would like to recognize its 1,702 volunteers in the fight against Alzheimer’s. These volunteers have worked with the chapter, putting in 11,783 hours, valued at $260,875 from July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2012. The value is derived from the Independent Sector, a coalition of charities, foundations, corporations, and individuals that publishes research important to the nonprofit sector. It reports annual statistics on the estimated dollar value of volunteer time.
